The options are 1) we go there or, 2) they come here!
Option 2 means that Iran successfully develops nukes and dominates the weak regional oil rich regimes (and thus the world oil economy) and threatens the US through proxies like Hezbollah and al Qaeda. And... takes out Israel.

There are, of course, a lot of variables here:
1. How close are the Iranians to nuclear weapons?
2. How many sites do they have?
3. Where are the sites located?
4. How would the mission be accomplished.
I'm sure even if A-jad had nukes, he is not going to threaten the gulf states w/ nukes because once he uses them, all bets are off.
