Building a case ...

To whom would the US present this case? The feckless UN? The MSM? Judge Judy?

In case we need it, which we don't, we have a case.

Well this is good news. Now, how long before Chuck Hagel, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, and the rest of the usual suspects start howling in protest?

This was a great line from the article:
"But the Americans simply brush aside any Iraqi troops or police who get in the way, and grab Iranians."

President Bush has only two years left to take care of Iran.

As for it taking two more 9-11's to wake America up....not true.

The left will never wake up - because it is already up and aiding and abetting the enemy.

How about what the DBM will doubtless call the "ultimate double down by Dubya"... I would not be surprised to see a good, old fashioned Declaration of War against the Iranian regime. Yes, this must come from the US Congress - but why not list the causa belli going back to 1979 before them and let them weasel out of that one!

There is a two-sided coin of Special Operations. That is, SOCOM. The first side is gathering intelligence, the other side is acting on that intelligence.

For a long time now, we have been quietly collecting intelligence on Iranian networks operating in southern Iraq. We have been watching who in the Iraqi government is more loyal to Iran than Iraq, who is in charge, where the money and weapons flow, etc., ad infinitum.

Now it is time for a "Night of the Long Knives". The word has been issued to roll up these networks, to harvest the traitors, saboteurs, infiltrators, fifth columnists, and other scum.

The smaller networks can be done as police actions, but some of the larger ones are going to turn violent. Personally, I would estimate perhaps 5000 or more Iranian agents and sympathizers are operating in southern Iraq and Baghdad, so it will take some time.

However, now that the roll-up has begun, it is putting a serious crimp in Iranian battle plans, as much as when the Israelis wiped out billions of dollars of Hezbollah infrastructure in Lebanon.

By all appearances, the US is trimming the big branches before going to work on the trunk.
