Except for "South Park" I do not watch any current TV show. I refuse. The subliminal messages from commercials are brutal enough.

If being called a bundle of sticks forces one to come out of the closet, me and every kid I went to high school with is gay. My wife will not be pleased.

The problem is, it wasn't a closed set. And reporters, etc. were there. No one publicly knew TR Knight was gay. Washington's name calling exposed it. Yeah, some may have suspected, but still...

I'll have to try that. To her credit, my wife seems to have lost interest.

I understand what you're saying. I have only a passing familiarity with the show, but until this thread I had heard of neither the incident nor that the dude was gay. Now I know.

For Grey's fans (of which I am a part), it was huge. Washington has a reputation for being 'difficult'. So for Grey's fans, this was kinda a surprise. For insiders, not so much. Word has it, he is jealous of all the attention Patrick Dempsey is getting. Sheesh. Sounds like a bunch of women.

" I told my wife "Just watch-here in a few minutes a couple of them will sneak out and head for a broom closet." She just went into a slow boil..." Were you right??? :-}

Personally I hope its Heigl's character that gets the boot. I have never seen a more worthless character on a hit drama show in my life. Its not her fault, but the drawn out Denny episodes really destroyed any interest I had in the character. I find myself Tivo'ing through her parts in the show now and after watching it again (straight through) with a few friends I realized I didn't miss a thing.

Yeah, that's understandable. In our timeline, she should sorta be over that crying stage. But I read somewhere that the span of time they cover in the show is only a matter of weeks to a few months. So, her still grieving and being an emotional wreck is still part of the story. I do hope Bailey will keep her promise and stop Izzy from any further attachment issues. Bailey rules!
