Do the photos come in, and stay in order? I had saved all the photos I wanted and when I couldn't find the matching captions I had saved and went back to get them, the photos were gone or buried by a ton of new ones around 7ish. It took a lot of extra time.
No, they don't stay in order... that's why I grabbed them this morning. There were a lot of photos yesterday. I am lucky today. :)
I haven't yet checked for First Lady, VP or Condi.
Next week, I'll get buried --- you'll abe able to post the Dose BEFORE that SOTU speech.
Wolfstar, GEM and snugs all told me that captions are really only needed to identitfy the others in the photos with POTUS, but I just cut and paste the captions as I snag each photo. After I have them all, then I decide which ones to keep or to post. It seems mundane to post "President waves as he boards Marine One for..." but I post it anyway...lol.
When I prepare the Dose, I do so in an HTML-based Email to myself and save it in my Drafts folder. As for the photos, this is what I do for each one that has a caption (for example).

[and in this space I copy and paste the tiny photo from Yahoo so I can tell which photo goes with which caption] For example, and remember, I don't copy the image location, I drag my cursor over the image, copy it, and paste it into my draft Email to myself:
Usually at Yahoo, the newer photos are posted at the top. Sometimes they are all jumbled up on Yahoo as to a the time taken. If there is a significant train of events the day I post, and it would help to have them in order, I try to set them in order by when they were taken. It isn't that crucial to the Dosers being able to understand what happened when if you have basic captions, and the use of captions does cut down on the time spent arranging them in an order.
One thing that helps me when preparing the Dose is to always put my captions in the same place. I put them above the photos so folks can tell before they scroll down what they are about to see, but whether you use above or beneath, by keeping them in the same place, you know at a glance what goes with what.
Just seen your post when searching for photos on yahoo go to advance search preference and select sort by date that will mean when new photos are added they are still in date order as sometimes new ones are all over the place.
