Reagan wasn't (sadly) a Catholic either. Rudy cannot live the basic tenets of his own faith, why would anyone expect integrity from him?

it was only "public" because the media was following him around. if the media were following John Edwards around, we might find out if he has been faithful to his wife.

are these notes from google wrong?

An Anti-Second Amendment Candidate

In the last couple of election cycles, 2nd Amendment issues have moved to the back burner mainly because even Democratic candidates have learned that being tagged with the "gun grabber" label is political poison.

Unfortunately, Rudy Giuliani is a proponent of gun control who supported the Brady Bill and the Assault Weapon Ban.

Do Republicans really want to abandon their strong 2nd Amendment stance by selecting a pro-gun control nominee?

Going to Mass with his mistress on 911 was about as public as you can get. He has no class, no integrity and he supports gun control and abortion. Why should ANY conservative give him a second look?

"Significantly, Giuliani can hold his head up high as the GOP hopeful with the finest legacy on racial preferences — a key issue to conservatives of every hue."

Maybe to the republicans but special privileges based on race are NOT a conservative issue except to end them. Consider this:

Recently tornadoes passed through parts of central PA. The VA among many other agencies offered help: To veterans. Now before the flames begin let me say I did my twenty with the US Air Force. I'm all for vets because I happen to be one.

But if Joe over here, a good guy with a family, who never served a day in the military, has had his house blown down. Meanwhile Bill, who served four years including time in Iraq has had a window box destroyed by flying debris.

Where is the "fairness" to Joe who is not going to receive a handout while Bill is? Hopefully Joe has insurance but that will be his sole relief if he does.

The point is handouts and special privileges need to end. That is the conservative position on those; not the democrat light of entitlement and second class citizenry. So Rudy; no thanks.

Rudy has been divorced TWICE; not THRICE, or three times, as hyou claim, for starters.

Newt has been divorced twice and married three times, has NO military service, and is a new agey tree hugger, Clinton ( both Hill and Bill ) butt kissing kneepadder, pro-Socialized medicine promoter, and yet, many here are falling all over themselves yearning for a Newt presidency. Go figure.....................

"Yeah, but I think he'd kill more Muzzies than OB1 Hussein or Cankles."

More terrorists would be able to enter this country with Rudy's pro-ILLEGAL immigration stance.

So far, after much research, I have found Rep. Duncan Hunter to be the most conservative candidate.

Sounds like "National Review" is endorsing Rudy. While he certainly is not my choice, I must say our "Conservative Brothers" who've been running the show for years, turned out to be a sorry lot.

His Bush-like immigration proposals are no more liberal than the president’s.

If Congress came up with a bill to provide immediate U.S. Citizenship to every Mexican, Bush would sign it. It is impossible to be more liberal than Bush on immigration.

I could support Rudy's candidacy...except for one thing: His Bush-like immigration proposals are no more liberal than the president’s...

Had Bush made known his immigration philosophy before the elections, he would now be just another guy from Texas.

Really? The MSM, the NY Post, and the Daily News basically bent over for this corrupt coogine! Even Tina Fey sang a song for him on SNL.

Remember it was LIBERAL DEMOCRATS who voted for Rudy in the first place (NY being a majority Dem city).

Again, I will never vote for a congenitally corrupt Noo Yawk cosmopolitan like Rudy. He's too "continental" in his worldview if you know what I mean.

--On President Bill Clinton: Shortly before his last-minute endorsement of Bob Dole in the 1996 presidential election, Giuliani told the Post's Jack Newfield that "most of Clinton's policies are very similar to most of mine." Rudy! An Investigative Biography of Rudolph Giuliani, Wayne Barrett.

Pro-illegal immigration - said no one in New York City is going to assist the federal government with the enforcement of immigration law, sued Feds in 1997 to be able to ignore immigration law, lost in court, vowed to ignore law anyway.
