I like Jerry Doyle. My only complaint is that he tends to get a bit hyperbolic and off topic by the third hour. His opening monologue and the first hour is usually the best part.

Good evening, Infidels! Yeah, Jerry Doyle is similar to Savage, as far as independent thought goes. He was a sub for Savage before he wrangled his own show, after all.

That is true with all of these talk radio programs. Of course, the hosts like the $$$, but 3 hours of the same-o is too much. Two hours would be plenty, and a single hour would be a sufficient amount of most of them.

JD is aok. I tend to default to Medved, but if his hour's topic leaves me cold (or has been overdone), I switch over to JD. You're right about his first hour tending to be the best. Also is his own man and not a GOP $hill, which I like a lot.
