Maybe the men who do that want to marry a woman like dear old mom. You have to admit that morals and values have declined greatly (in men as well as in women) in the past 40 years.
I dont think men have changed as much as women. I am not placing blame. I am just saying that feminism has changed lots of women for the worse. As women behave worse, men happily follow along. After all, many men are dogs anyway. We visit bars and whore houses and get liquored up.
Now women are behaving the same way.
It also seems to be getting much worse. Look at the moms and dads who let their little girls dress like britney. Mass media is bringing women down faster then men.

I think that while there have been some changes culturally, and I'd personally say they are for the worse, I know that there is no shortage of attractive, good women out there. The idea is to get out there and find them.

As women behave worse, men happily follow along.

I think this is very true and very telling. Women have a lot more influence over the conduct of men than men do over their own conduct. That's not to say men are not responsible for their actions, it's just that women are in a better position to hold men to a higher standard of conduct and make it work, than men do of holding their fellow men up to a higher standard of conduct.

As for bad parents, I saw a 'porn star in training' Halloween costume on a precocious little girl this past season. Well, there you go!

But you reminded me of a TRUE situation..from a few years ago..

I had to drop into the nearest store - a Target - to buy some batteries for my camera. It was just before Halloween - and the battery section was near the costume section...

I heard a little girls voice, from across the corridor -- "Please Mom, I don't want to look like a whore for Halloween".... I just had to look around the corner - to see the costume the MOM was holding us for the about 8 year old girl's opinion...

The little girl was right -- and obviously had more sense than the mom.
Now, one needs to wonder how did an 8yo learn about the word and meaning of "whore"?
