In a letter delivered Thursday, Alberto Gonzales' office wrote that it would be, "Premature to initiate a federal investigation pending a criminal trial."

Now that it's obvious there will be no criminal trial, I wonder what his story will be.

No surprise that Gonzales shows no eagerness to get involved where victims are three wealthy white males. He seems the do-nothing type.

what upsets me is all the media journalists (whores) who are falling all over themselves to give Nifong every excuse in the book. (just one time, his first big case, never was bad before)

This is because these media journalists (whores) are trying to kiss but to the OTHER prosecutors in their OTHER stories.

If a nifong effect takes hold, no prosecutor will EVER talk to reporters again.

The Feds refuse to protect the boarders, fight the terrorist the non politically correct way, and now do nothing with a D.A. clearly out of line.

What can we do?

The bar seems to be looking for ways to nit pick their way out of actually pursuing this.

The DA will haul your butt to court for a traffic ticket but when one of their own accused of wrong doings they turn the other way. A jury should look at the facts and hold him accountable.

Nifong's intemperate remarks to the press about the case he was trying could be written off as lack of maturity or poor judgment, for which a reprimand might be in order.

However, "Nifong could also face additional charges for withholding DNA evidence that was favorable to the accused players," if proven true, would show that he has character defects that should disqualify him from practicing law or working in any position of trust or responsibility.

In that case, he may have to join the French Foreign Legion. His nom de guerre could be, "Sac d'Engrais." If he served well, he might be promoted to "Caporal Sac d'Engrais," and, after retiring and gaining French citizenship, he would be called "Monsiuer Sac d'Engrais."

This is a slam-dunk for the Feds if they want it.

Any of you legal-eagles out there: Is there any reason why the Feds would NOT want to take action in this case?

Apparently the US Attorney General and his flunkys only prosecute law officers when they interfere with drug trafficking or try to stop border violations.

Nifong should be facing criminal charges that equate to the number of years his intended victims would have faced in jail.

I'd prefer execution for a Public Office holder who abuses his authority like this, but then I'm a radical of sorts.

I'm not too shocked at Gonzales.
Nifong has been taken off the case and the state bar is looking into his actions. The locals are trying to take care of matters that Nifong screwed up. Lets see if they do what is proper, if not then maybe another call for the Feds to step in would be appropriate.

The DAs were supporting Nifong as late as this fall, offering support, mock juries, PR consultation...

Believe me, the DAs would see nothing wrong here if Nifong had gotten away with his shenanigans.

What the DAs see see now, though, is a LOT of political pressure that will end the free-for-all party they have had for so long.

THAT is why they are NOW running away from Nifong as fast as they can. They are trying to save themselves - and their sleazy way of life.

Based on the 60 minutes interview, Durham District Attorney Mike Nifong is going to be slapped monetarily. Duke University Trustees should be worried about the endowmwnt. Probably the president and the 88 signatories should be taking steps to hide assets as well.

Nothing is going to happen to this criminal. The feminazis and the race-hucksters will start their hysterical yelling and threatening and no politician will stand up to them. No charges will be brought against this lawbreaker and the whole matter will be forgotten. Except by us.

The only news I want to hear about Nifong is:
"Today, Nifong started serving his 10 year term in a North Carolina state penitentiary for obstruction of justice, unlawful prosecution, and a hate crime".
