Supporters of Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) are being told this morning there will be an 11 a.m. Chicago time conference call. Expected to be discussed is Obama filing papers to officially launch his 2008 White House run. Obama is expected to hit the road to travel to early primary states in the coming days.
The call is being organized by Nate Tamarin, who was the political director for Obama's Washington D.C. based political action committee the Hope Fund. He now works with Pete Giangreco, the founder of the Strategy Group in Evanston, expected to handle Obama's direct mail in the 2008 campaign.
ANd all the networks will line up and throw him a ticker tape parade, not that they are biased or anything.
Obama mania for someone who hasn't done a single thing.
But but but....he's supposed to announce on Oprah!!!! Not a conference call.
Cue teen girl screams from the media.

If it keeps him out of D.C. it's a good thing. One less vote from the America haters.
And that is what I don't understand. The media is so anxious for a black president that they will choose a guy who has had very little experience over one that has more just because he's black and popular. Why don't they hover around Condi??? Oh wait... she's a Republican... never mind!

You have to feel a little sympathy for the guy. It seems that Obama has bought the hype produced by a bored media and really thinks he has a chance.
