Let me ask you: if you stood in a crowd and you personally witness this person being personable (albeit technically out of uniform), could you tell if they were genuine based on the camo of their outfit? Or would you need additional evidence?

What you said is that the Evengelical Church should first look into the state of affairs of, and ensure its own house is immaculate and in order for the "guest" that is anticipated soon to arrive (and for whom it awaits), and to make certain that all is spiffy and the wedding clothes are lain out, clean, without blemish, to be donned at a moments notice (at a moments notice when the "guest" arrives), before heaving mud from inside the home at those standing outside of said home.

Yes ..I have been in churches who do not like me. The church where I taught preschool Sunday school would not marry me. My 1st husband answered honestly when the Minister asked him if he accepted Christ. My husband to be said he didn't know as he had not been brought up in any religion. I lost my teaching and I wasn't allowed to get married there. It hurt quite a bit.......I have had people dislike me because I am married to a biker and I have tattoos. To this I say if you dislike me because I have hurt you somehow or you have a valid reason to dislike me fine. To just dislike me because of who I am married to or because of my looks.....I say dillagaf. It used to really hurt my feelings to be judged by people who didn't know me....Now I think well there is another moron and let it slide.
I have lived near a mosque and it was not a place I would care to live across from again. I didn't care what religion the people were...thats their choice. I did care about the rude comments and being afraid. I was afraid because many of the converts to Islam were from the county and state prisons. I don't want to believe ill of anyone but I will tell you that those guys were mean and many people were afraid in the neighborhood. And this was before years before 9/11. Take care and if you have been treated rudely in any church then shame on them for not following what they preach. ~~Pandora~
