KIRKWOOD, Mo. (AP) - While his alleged kidnapper was away at work, teenager Shawn Hornbeck apparently had access to a computer, and may have put photos of himself online and posted a chilling message on a site created by his own desperate parents: "How long are you planning to look for your son?"
A series of Web postings under the name "Shawn Devlin" - Devlin is the last name of the man suspected of kidnapping Shawn and posing as his father - came to light after Shawn's rescue from an apartment in Kirkwood last week.

Don't Craig and the mother look awesome
Thanks for the link. Leave it to the Oprah to get first dibs. I guess the kid said nothing. I don't know how he could considering this case hasn't gone to court. Looks like he got a haircut. I hope this is a case for court TV. Ought to be interesting considering the fact they are looking into a 3rd victim that may be Devlin related.
I know these things are hard to believe; we have to place ourselves into the mind of a child to even come close.
I agree with what you said fully. Good for you for standing up to the boy
oh but it was!!!
because it is no one's business!!!!!!!!
I Agree With You 100 %
It seems some freepers wanted to make excuses for the child porn addict kidnapper & it makes me Sick !!!!
Shawn is an innocent VICTIM Of a 300 Pound SkumBag !
And to those freepers BASHING Shawn's Parents , That ***** me off too !
Shawn's Stepdad LOST A Leg while searching for another missing child . Shawn's family depleted their life savings to help find missing kids !
I Heard that the police may have prints of the kidnapper on the other missing boy's bike & it might be Devlin fingerprints & that's why they think he responsible for the 3rd missing boy too .....
Devlin is a ******* skumbag !
if the prints from another kidnapping match Devlin, Devlin is screwed(not that he wasn't alreadly)! If he commited murder he is going away for good and hopefully be put to death! Scumbag!
I Agree With You 100 %
That may be how he controlled Shawn for so long, take him and show him a body. Just speculation on my part
Ohhhh, I haven't heard that. I didn't even know they had recovered Arlin's bike. That is huge.
I can't stand Oprah, but I am going to watch Shawn's parents on her show this afternoon.
me to and will report what I thought when I get back on.
He has cleaned up, took out the piercings ( I won't enunceate why I think the pierceing on the lip)... seems like a nice, shy, young boy. Held on to his stepfather with an iron grip in the interview. Said he prayed every night they would find him.
i noticed that. He has a healthy relationship with his stepfather! He was holding on to him stronger than his mom, kept looking at him for answers and support. It was nice to see Shawn.
Shawn was shy, quiet, and afraid of talking about what happend to him. He showed a side of him that proves to me he was just to afraid to get away from Devlin.
I think Shawn is a cute kid and in a matter of time he will recover from this. He showed he wants to move on badly and I think it is time he does.
It sounds like you had pretty much the same impression as I. Did you see the end? Now, Oprah is getting on the bandwagon to do something about states being too easy on child predators.. I think she should join with BOR, he has been on this for a couple of years now and together they could probably be pretty formidable.
***I asked her if she believed that getting raped and terrorized seemed like a good trade off. She shut her mouth.***
Way to go, MOgirl! :)
Well, seeing BOR has lost all credibility these last few days by questioning the actions of Shawn not trying to get away from Devlin I don't want anything to do with him. If he wants to help getting laws passed that make it where sex criminals don't get a second chance than I'm all for it, but he owes the family of Shawn Hornbeck an apology as well as Shawn!
I think the laws need to change in each state and I think it is time for Freepers to work on their states to get some legislations passed to protect our children.
