Frank Church--along with Birch Bayh, Teddy Kennedy, George McGovern and other traitors--also led the Senate action that cut off all funding and military support to South Vietnam so the North Vietnamese communist forces could finally overrun the south in 1975. I can't imagine any institute being named for him unless it is a prison or an insane asylum.

I wonder if recycled products were used to make the tickets....

High school students forced to hear more left lunatic propaganda. The government should not be involved in education. The Dept of Education should be abolished. All schools - K-12, colleges and grad schools - should be private. To get the ball rolling, parents should send their kids to private schools, to put the government schools out of business.

Didn't Al Gore invent something? free tickets, maybe?

AlBore's talk isn't until 7PM, so there had better not be any students excused from attending school that day.

By the way, Algore's local paper, 'The Tennessean', asked for reader responses to be printed next Sunday in the 'Issues' section.
The issue? "Do you think Al Gore's film, An inconvenient Truth, deserves an Oscar nomintion as best documentary? Send your thoughts to op-ed and Issures editor Terry Quillen @tquillen@tennessean.com."
I think it would be neat to have responses from eloquent Freepers who have extensive knowledge of this subject and the movie filling the 'Issues' page.
My thinking is that as a movie, it is terrible. Being considered a documentary worthy of awards is atrocious. As a work of fiction it's boring. (Is there a "Propoganda" award?

They are going to blame Global Warming on those who didn't "care" enough to attend. The rest will be out on the slopes enjoying all the cold winter weather that Al brought to town.

SunCor Energy has been developing sand tar oil in Canada and Al Gore has been publicly blasting them ever since they began the project. I believe SunCor Development is part of the same outfit. These free tickets may be a peace offering.

How can they be "sold" out when they were free?
To: ChuckShick
Although, It sure is surprizing they could give away those tickets!
To: ChuckShick
Will the free ticket holders be barred from waling out? To make sure there'll be 500 there for the whole whatever?
