I came across the interesting story of the girl with two heads and was reading some of the posts on the forums (mostly unmoderated) about her/them. Instead of celebrating survival to age 16 and leading somewhat of a normal life, I read some of the most vile and foul posts there regarding her/them, especially regarding her sexuality as she enters puberty. It seems that the internet demonstrates both the good and bad in people. Even though most posts are supportive of a person undergoing physical or mental trauma, there are a certain few that go beyond asking understandable questions and take it down to a new level of depravity.

2006 will go down in Internet & FReeper history as The Year of the Sockpuppet -- people are now being generously paid by the usual suspects to disrupt this site (and many others) any way they can.
