I say take the beam out of your eye, Rabbi.

I can pretty much guarantee that this particular rabbi, and those who follow him, vote Republican.

I'm just a generation removed from subsistence farming myself. Most of my surviving relatives of the previous generation keep gardens, live frugally, etcetera. I've lived long enough to see the wisdom in it. My grandmother didn't have an indoor toilet until she became physically disabled and had one put in, and even then, thought it was unclean to have a "privvy" inside the house. She never really liked it, but it became a necessity.

G_d bless Rabbi Lapin and G_d bless America!

Lord I ask that you grant Christians their voices, that they may be heard loud and strong so we may stand firmly against our enemy....

Anyone who calls him or her self a Jew or Christian and is a Democrat is supporting the enemy not only of the United States but of Israel.

Who has the loudest voice, the Muslim terrorists or the Christians in America?

And who attracts the attention of most of the MSM in America?

That's where I am, too ... which is why I say PTHOOEY! to those who claim it's "too expensive" to have a Christian family in today's economy (etc., etc.).

Nonsense ... you set your priorities.

We could get our land in Anson County tomorrow, and be fixed for a long time ... running water and everything :-). People are just so *wimpy*!

I think the majority will surrender to Islam, just like they've already surrendered to socialism. I could be wrong ... maybe their faith will mean more to them than their economic freedom, which is secondary, after all.

This hymn, written in 1905 by the Methodist lay leader Leila Morris, might give you some inspiration. You certainly won't find it in the present-day United Methodist Church hymnal.

THE FIGHT IS ON

The fight is on, the trumpet sound is ringing out,
The cry “To arms!” is heard afar and near;
The Lord of hosts is marching on to victory,
The triumph of the Christ will soon appear.

Refrain:
The fight is on, O Christian soldier,
And face to face in stern array,
With armor gleaming, and colors streaming,
The right and wrong engage today!
The fight is on, but be not weary;
Be strong, and in His might hold fast;
If God be for us, His banner o’er us,
We’ll sing the victor’s song at last!

The fight is on, arouse, ye soldiers brave and true!
Jehovah leads, and victory will assure;
Go buckle on the armor God has given you,
And in His strength unto the end endure.

Refrain

The Lord is leading on to certain victory;
The bow of promise spans the eastern sky;
His glorious Name in every land shall honored be;
The morn will break, the dawn of peace is nigh.

Refrain

This scumbag is like a god on FR.

While this is true of some on FR, it is not a universal viewpoint. Personal, I agree with you that Dawkins is a scumbag.

Indeed. This guy doesn't have any control, other than what he writes and says, on the way other jews vote, whether they're religious or not.

I say good on him for speaking up.

You're right about George Bush not getting it.In addition to failing to secure the borders, the Bush Administration forces Muslim sensitivity training (administered by CAIR) on FBI agents and airport security.

Rabbi- your warnings are falling on deaf ears- people don't want to hear you- they don't want to entertain the idea that their idilic lives might come to an end and we'll have to fight to preserve our freedom.

We have to look after our friends. The Rabbi is our friend.

I noticed an onslaught over the Christmas season. In subtle way, I was deceived myself, delightful instances were given as to how the early Christians adopted pagan rites.

Were it done in the spirit of information, one could take it or leave it.

Just part of consigning the Christian religion to an out dated curiosity. Even if there is an argument to be made, one thing is for sure.

The absence in the belief, that we have a soul.

What I can see is the steady erosion of freedom and the passage of laws that will compel good police and prosecutors to sadly shake their heads enforcing something that they don't agree with but feel compelled to comply with out of duty and honor.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Hm....Like those law officers who hauled Elian Gonzoles out of his uncle's ( and court appointed ) home? ...and then celebrated with a party afterward?

We had a counselor ask us to replace the Christmas tree in the lobby with a "peace tree" because not all of us are Christians. One teacher continually insists to staff and students that there's no real difference between "fundementalist Christians" and "fundementalist Moslems." I stood in amazement when a group from Ukiah visited my school to put on a show about "American history" and proceeded to link Christianity with slavery and oppression of minorities and women.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Solution:

1) Remove your own child from these cesspools. Try to convince your neighbor to do the same.

2) Work like crazy to close down the government school indoctrination camps.

I would reply to the Rabbi, who votes for dems, Jews or Christians, and who votes for republicans, Jews or Christians?

Exit polls suggested that 70 percent of Orthodox Jews voted for Bush.
