I agree with you rodguy911. The winner in 2008 will be the person who gets the vote from independents and non-aligned voters.

Our side needs a solid conservative who can draw from Libertarians as well as those independents who used to be Democrats but left as they got so radical. A Democrat-Lite candidate cannot do that.

So far the only two I know of that beat(according to current polling) Hillary are Rudy or McCain.
