I remember like it was yesterday, when you, MID were telling all of us, especially me...that it is WAY to early to worry about 2008's POTUS candidate.
I believed you then, and felt that if we dwelled on that, it could derail what was happening at the time..perhaps that is what happened last November.
But, NOW it seems so LATE...because none of the candidates seem like they have "IT".....we need a candidate that has "IT".
Just because Democrats are rushing into the game does not mean we have to follow suit. Every Republican who gets into it now will be compared and questioned over everything President Bush does so there are good reasons to hold off this year.
My guess, and I've been wrong more times than I'd like, is our eventual candidate won't be known until late this year or next.
I have seen Duncan Hunter on the cables recently. He is right on the issues. I wouldn't count him out. He may not be our candidate but he states the issues in no uncertain terms. No waffling at all.
