Will the last Bushbot turn off the lights when they leave. Snow is defending the indefensible.
See post 24. The DOJ did take a really hard line against these agents. It looks like the State Dept. is very concerned about Mexico turning into another Venezuela and utlimately a threat to our national security. There was a shooting by the BP just a couple days ago in Arizona. Let's see what happens to that agent.
I'm not a Bushbot but from all of the coverage on kfi radio in Los Angeles there was very little talk of the fact that the agents fired on the illegal while he was running away. Fifteen shots and then trying to cover it up afterwards according to the record. Police only use deadly force when they have to stop deadly force but a bad guy running away is not that.
I mean that's sort of like trying and convicting a man because he is trying to get away. I think the agents have a very hard job but they must have lost their cool by shooting at him like that. They didn't say he was shooting at them.
I don't think they should go to jail what they did because it was in the heat of a really hard situation but I could see them getting fired for it. Just my two cents.
" Snow is defending the indefensible."
Just don't understand this guy sometimes as much as I respect him.
Tony Snow was for sending Elian Gonzalez back to Cuba, but he passes on a question of why we RETURN a drug smuggler and allow him to testify against our BP agents.
Another freeper suggested that we are slamming these BP guys with 12 years imprisonment to save Mexico from a 'Chavez' type takeover. I sure hope our country, foreign policy, and judicial system is better than that. I'm having my doubts.
