This is from a country where legitimate spanking of your kids is illegal, and parents who exercise that option are likely to be charged with child abuse.

Yeah, but I hear that you're only given a sentance of a 20 minute time out, and sent to bed without dessert for abusing your child there...

Yes, sexual abuse of children is a very disturbig thing, but so is adult ignorance.

Apparently, you failed to realize the underlying reality of these words;

"The latter girl reported the man to the police last August, accusing him of assaulting her repeatedly when she was aged between nine and eleven."

Is the verdict based on testimonies like this or on actual evidence like film material depicting the very act?

If no such evidence exists, I smell witch-trial."



- In fact, several Swedish men have been convicted of acts of incest which they are, most likely, NOT guilty of.

This is a matter that lately has been brought much attention to in my home country, even though journalists and other investigators are very careful not to cause any damage to the reputation of the affected COURTS.
