What a show, Fred Thompson and Michael Moriarty. Sam Waterson seems to be less than a lib. A dream ticket, to me.
Just as one example of the differences, businesses that spend more than they make necessarily get smaller and smaller until they go under. When a government spends more than it takes, it gets bigger and bigger as it takes more and more in an effort to throw more money at its problems. There are those few politicians who say "taking/spending more isn't the answer" but the vast majority (even of so-called conservatives) seem to think that spending more money is the way to fix any problem. Even the ones with MBA's from Harvard seem to think this.
Good news. It's alway good to get publicity for conservative causes.
It is always very good to see an actor declare him'her self a conservative. He should start by working for a conservative's campaign first.
Hitler Meets Christ is about two homeless guys, one has delusions of being Jesus, the other takes himself for Hitler. The movie came out in 2000, and had been a New York play before that, but it looks like it just silently sank into oblivion. It just might possibly have some merit, but sounds like the sort of concept beginning writers come up with and then discard.
The example you give...IS the EXACT reason we need non-politicians in D.C.
Again, I agree with you which is among the reasons why I consider myself libertarian. But good luck convincing a large enough voting block to get a person with no political resume elected to the highest office.
Of something? Running a business is "something". Being a solid citizen...is "something". I think you are underestimating the Sheeple....as crazy as that might be. LOL!!!
BTW, not that I agree with the Terminator....but he was elected to be the governor of Calif. without being a career politician. A bunch of sheeple bot into that. Pretty larger voting block there...I'd say.
FWIW-
"EAT EM UP! CRUNCH CRUNCH."

I've often thought that if politicians were selected at random from a pool of everyone, they would do a better job than our current politicians.
I think that sounds like a really interesting plot.
I read a story once (I think it was an Isaac Asimov short) where that was how the leadership was selected. Actually, giving it some thought, the single voter was randomly selected by computer and everyone else's votes were then extrapolated from the single vote (or something like that). Kinda like random sampling with only one sample.
Worse for him, he's been married three times, and was arrested for drunk & disorderly. Traits that if he was a dim the lame stream media would over look, however, since he's a conservative, they would never be able to mention his name with referring to his three ex-wives and bout with the bottle.
one of the only films that made me cry.
A work of art.
this guy played an awsome Heinrich type SS officer in the Holocaust
LoL... but rehabilitated..
