He shouldn't be upset. As a liberal, he can consider this a tax on his stupidity and be happy with it.

The network's challenge to Rush Limbaugh and other conservative talkers for the nation's hearts, minds, and ad revenues has ended up in bankruptcy, and Glaser, chair of the Air America board the past two years, faces millions in personal losses.
Yet another happy news story.

Good news, but it's only 1% of his net worth. My portfolio goes up and down by that much almost every day :-)

If you think about, liberals don't really need Air America to compete for the nation's hearts and minds.
They have CBS, NBC, the NY Times, etc.
Those groups caused more damage than any host on Air America could have!

Actually its a pity. If (hot)Air America had survived, the "Fairness" Doctrine would be less likely to be revived. As it is, I bet we'll see a bill to quash conservative talk radio before the year is over.

The challenge to SLimbaugh is from the right and not from demotic idiots. SLimbaugh is too far to the left and too self-righteous (like many DUmmies here) for me.
Listen to the Right, Rush. And may the force be with you.

This country would be better off if liberals were taxed for every government program they support. They'd propose a lot fewer of them.

To all ... still have RealPlayer on your system? Read the article and think seriously about de-installing that "progressive" piece of invasive crap. (Amazing how deep into the OS it goes).

AAR also got caught up in the kind of scandal more familiar to Republican capitalistshaving quietly floated a "loan" of $875,000 from a nonprofit New York boys and girls club that was funded in part by taxpayers. According to a 2005 New York state investigation, the questionable transaction had been arranged by former chair Cohen, under a preceding corporation. More familiar to Republicans? Which Republicans have defrauded a charity into making a loan to a personal project? Has VP Cheney gotten a loan from the Salvation Army? Is Rumsfeld going to open a business with Girl Scout cookie money? You can't try to hide this by saying that the Republicans are just as corrupt as the Dems.

Now if this isn't a travesty I don't know what is.
Then again this is about par for Leftists...using public money to further their own agendas.
Let's hope these creeps get hard time.

Whoa, steal 1.2 million from a charity and no jail time.
You would think all those Bank Robbers who only get away with a few thousand and get 20 years would have a beef with that and complain to their Democrat congress person about getting discriminated against.
