Conservatives NEED to Unify for 2008 (Some might have to suck it up or salute President Clinton II) What he means is that we must compromise our principles to put a RINO in the White House.
Right, so we can wind up with another Schwarzenegger?

Selling out in order to prevail has left a bad taste in my mouth.

No RINOS for me.
I love the political process, no one is forcing us to debate.
All this moaning should stop.

Selling out in order to prevail has left a bad taste in my mouth.Depends on how you define "prevail." If it means keeping Hillary out, I'll hold my nose and vote for her opponent, no matter who that is.

Republicans elected a Democratic House and Senate by not voting in November.
We are the majority in this country.
Some do not understand the time to be an ideologue is during the PRIMARY phase of the election process. You want Atilla the Hun to be POTUS than get out there and push for him early. Raise money for him and convince your fellow Republicans Atilla is the best Hun for the job.

I'll hold my nose and vote for her opponent, no matter who that is. That's two of us. I'm used to it though, living in Illinois.

I will get behind any Republican candidiate who is not a liberal , who supports the 2nd amendment, who will not grant amnesty to illegal aliens, who will continue the WOT OUTSIDE the country, and who will continue our the current tax policies.
There were 14 Senators ( The Gang of 14)who conspired to halt the conservative legislative agenda. Seven of them were allegedly Republican. Those same 14 got tired of Tom DeLay knocking on the Senate door with conservative bills and standing firm in conference on them. These 14 and the backroom boys had an answer: get rid of Tom DeLay.
The conservastives were not all over the place. The RNC leadership and a handful of RINOs ( 7 to be exact) are to blame for treason. Two of those 7 RINOs were not re-elected. Of the 5 remaining, John McCain deludes himself that he will be president after his betrayal of the conservative legislative agenda.
After abandonment by the RNC leadership and by those 7 RINO Senators, conservatives need to stand firm, and refuse to vote for a liberal who pretends Republicanship. Then the nation will be further polarized by a POS Dem president, until conservative numbers swell to take over the political power of the nation.
The question is : Will Nancy Pelosi and her fools manage to create enough conservative Republicans before the presidential primaries? If she does , we will have a conservative backlash which will put political power back in the hands of conservative Republicans
The Republican party abandoned me. After voting the straight Republican ticket in 5 subsequent federal elections, I will not do so again if a RINO runs for the presidency. There are at least 20 million like me. That message has to be absorbed and understood by the RNC, and fast. If not, say welcome to Hillary.
This article is a campaign message from John McCain as far as I am concerned, and he can't retire soon enough to suit me and the millions who remember his recent antics with the gang of 14.

This country is full of people, many demonrats included, that are going to cast an anti-Hillary vote, rather than a pro Republican vote. That's exactly why I think we can put a conservative up there and win, as long as they put Hillary up. As long as the media keeps up with the Obama charade, the notion that Hillary will not be their candidate remains alive. Republicans need to understand reality, and reality is that Hillary WILL be their candidate.

And if more people think like that, Bill Clinton's wife will become Commander-in-Chief! (Marxism in America! Hooray!) When that happens, you and your "voting bloc" will all carry the blame.

Actually, it will be people like you, who seem to want to support RINOS, that could give us a liberal like Clinton.
Conservatives can't very well unite around a candidate that is not a conservative...
