That's too cute! Little girls have the most observant eyes...especially for presents. So do bigger girls! :D
I was in the Army down in Belize for a 6 month tour. Went to the local hotel after a going away dinner for one of the boys returning to the UK. Walked in and saw a beautiful woman sitting alone at a table and told myself, "She is gorgeous" and made my way to the bar. About half an hour later and about four Belize rum and cokes, I felt a hand on my elbow and a voice asking if I'd like to dance. It was her! We saw each other again before she came back to LA after Christmas and I went back to the UK. We called each other, wrote and I decided I was going to join her in LA. I left the Army after 15 years and we have now been married 20 years this last December.
We met on Fri 13th Dec! The best date of my life!
She told me years later that she'd gone home that first night and told her mom that she'd met the guy she was going to marry! She's the best and one of a kind.
