Yep...Golden Oldies. We are having a quite dinner with our two kids,their spouses and the two grand kids at a private club here. Also two couples that have been FRiends for 50 years.
A LOOOOOOOOOOoonnnng time ago I could and did eat like that. But that was a LOOOOOOOOOOoonnnng time ago.
Think one of the things that helped me cath Mrs. SR --????or did I get caught????-- was she found out and her folks found out about my woodworking skills.

It's a bit of a rambling story, but his brother and my brother were in the Navy together. They were both discharged on the same day and they rode motorcycles (they bought them in Japan) home from San Diego.
His brother got married shortly after they got home and asked my brother to be his best man. I went to the wedding with him (it was in Iowa). Met my future hubby at that wedding, but we were both dating others at that time. However, my brother met his future wife at this wedding. They were married a year later.
Well, we met again at my brother's wedding. We were both unattached and started dating that night. We married 3 months later. That was 34 years ago.
Secret? It's been a long time since he SHOULD eat like that...he now needs to lose a few...well, maybe more than a FEW pounds...from still eating all the leftovers. LOL!
