I saw it on the drive home tonight! As I drove west out of Sacramento about 5:30, it was right in front of me. There were clouds, primarily, but low in the horizon it was clear. It was still dusk, but the coma of the comet and the tail were easily seen. The tail was longer than Hale-Bopp, and the overall comet was brighter as well.
