Let's not even begin to count how many did after leaving Vietnam. Funny how Teddy never mentions that.

" No, they want to get the GOP on record siding with them."
Anyone know which wimps will be joining the traitors ?

A Non-binding resolution is the pussification of politics.
To: edpc
Even though the resolution maybe non-binding and even though they may not cut off funds I'm really getting sick and tired of these limp Republicans caving to Rats.

Durbin looked foolish and typically Democrat- he blended their cut and run philosophy with health care plans for Iraqis.Did you hear that person say, "Cut," at the end of Durbin's "speech"?
How appropriate

(IF Truman cut + ran after 3,000 deaths, THEN the Korean War would have ended in 5 weeks.)
To: Howlin
"And the GOP will vote with them, they presume?" They damn well better not.
To: Mo1
Durbin is a truly despicable person.
When we are hit with a nuclear bomb, and hundreds of thousands of people are vaproized...I intend to be a member of the group who takes care of Durbin, Pelosi, Kennedy et al down at the most populous intersection of the town at high noon....
...that is if the nuke don't hit downtown Dallas.

Major Garrett said that the Dems have a list of the Republicans that they "can work on to go against the President"....
Okay...so, I am assuming that since they are going after the Republicans in the Senate..that means:
Clinton, Biden, carry, Dodd, Obama, have ALL said they are for cutting and running???
That is going to be their position???
BTW..when McCain was asked if Congress could stop the Pres...McCain did NOT say NO...he hemmed and hawed around, saying something about yeah, they can cut funding.
IOW...McCain is a LOSER!

Sadly, a lot of Catholics are becoming pacifists, and some are very emotionally attached to supporting Palestinians. I wonder if Brownback is in this camp? He is so strong on pro-life issues that these new pronouncements are really dispiriting.
