"Does this mean Hillary and Teddy will win outright in the longrun....? "
I do actually believe that it is a foregone conclusion that the US will eventually become a totally socialized state. The only questions are "how", "when" and the specifics of form and function.
Oddly, I am resigned to this fate and fairly at peace with it-- but I will continue to fight it out of sheer principle until the bitter end-- if there ever is and "end" that is. It seems that when it comes to socialism there is always room for improvement.
I agree with your socialist future prediction - I saw "Idiocracy" yesterday on DVD - it shows a future where moron voters elect a bodybuilder/pro wrestler president of the U.S. The future is here already in Kalifornia.

I shall oppose it in principle as well. But I'm not sure that the advancement towards radical socialism is inevitable. Capital flees socialist countries for less socialist ones. The only way that this country will ever accept true socialism is if we completely forget how good our standard of living (and technological progress) "used to be".
