When you list all those things we were witness to for the first time, rhombus, what we have seen in our "area" of this century has been truly amazing, hasn't it?
I actually feel sorry for younger people sometime because they are never truly AMAZED or in AWE of something.
I, too, saw all those things; you've given me a trip back in time; and for each thing you've mentioned, I can remember EXACTLY where I was standing. Literally.

Like getting up in the middle of the night to watch the "Moon Landing" and "Moon Walk". We were so excited I don't think we slept all night.

Has anybody mentioned that there was such thing as a cloth diaper pickup and delivery service?

There's another quality about today's generation...they have always been so connected to the point where I sometimes think some of them are afraid to be alone. Always with a cellphone in the ear...always cable television with hundreds of channels...always the Internet with loads of sites....always some store somewhere open... There's a Joni Mitchell song quote about getting crazy from too much choice. Boy is that the case now.
