re: Doesn't this make his black father, to whom he owes his entire political identity, little more than a sperm donor?
It would seem that way to me!
I also find it curious that Obama's main "qualification" for higher office in the eyes of many is simply the color of his skin. Now on the one hand we are told by liberals that white parents who want to adopt a black child can't possibly accomplish the task of adequately bringing up that child because their own lack of pigmentation renders them incapable of passing on all important black culture to the child. (Many black social workers actually prefer a childhood of foster care for orphaned black children to being adopted by loving non-black couples.) Getting back to Obama, if a black child raised by a white adoptive parents is not black enough, having not experienced living in a black culture, why in the world is Obama, raised by a white woman and his white grandparents considered black enough? It also seems to me that Obama owes everything he is to his white mother, not to the sperm donor who stuck around for a brief time and then left, not only the family, but the country. But whom does Obama identify with? It is certainly not those who loved him, nurtured him, or provided him with an education at elite schools.
Osama..errr I mean Obama, finds playing the Black race card much more productive in politics, than playing the White race card. Osama---I mean Obama is a Democrat after all.
