Just took a spin around Lantana. I stayed on the east side of town, the area where the terrorists called home. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Drove past Lantana Airport, Mohamed Atta's training ground -- nothing. I-95 is clear, north and south. Nothing going on at the beach other than swimmers and boaters enjoying another day in paradise. Unless there is a problem on the west side of town, all's clear.

A truck was stopped at the Port of Miami...

The driver was acting suspicious...told the inspector that he was alone...but, they found 2 men hiding in the back of the cab.

The driver is Iraqi...the two hidden men are Lebanese and Iraqi....they have taken the truck to be inspected by bomb squad and HAZMAT...

We are waiting a press conference that has been delayed about 4 times...

Supposedly these 3 guys are here LEGALLY, and are not on terrorist list..but, the manifest was wrong...

Also..it has been noted on this thread that the 9/11 hijackers were here legally for at least part of their stay here.

They have stopped tanker trucks going to the port to fuel the cruise ships also....and this is a very busy cruise ship day.

Speculation: Is this a dry run?

I posted earlier that they will probably tell us to move along, nothing to see here!!!

A deliberately suspicious truck draws all the security attention, and a tanker truck tries to get close to SIX cruise ships with about 1000 pax and crew each. That about cover it? Oh, and the tanker truck just slips away...

Well... the tanker truck was there to deliver fuel to a cruise ship. That's not particularly suspicious.

One explanation I've seen for the Arab "dog" problem is that the dog is the totem for the god of death, Anubis, and they've carried over their superstitions inherited from Egyptian (pagan) times into Islam.

A true and faithful Moslem, then, would put away such beliefs and leave the doggone dogs alone.

Funny story: my girlfriend was our Youth Director at our church. She took the kids on Mission and after they returned she received a package at church. No markings...but it was ticking. The secretary called the police...just in case. The police came and called the Bomb Squad. They shut down a four block area around the church. They bring in the robot.....and lo and behold: it was a clock from the Mission co-ordinator that they send to every Youth Minister in thanks!!

So it REALLY may be nothing in that Seaboard truck! lol
