There was an Imam on FOX the other night who clearly said "Islam has no problem with dogs" and it doesn't.
That particualr fellow was the "negotiator" for the Moslems so he must know.
Sounds like a lot of the difficulty was a "personal problem" with one or two cab drivers who just didn't want dogs in their cabs.
Frankly, I don't let dogs in my car either. Never did. On the other hand, I don't pick up people and their stuff "for hire".

If it was a white box truck, it might be the one Chief Moose was looking for!

OMG, that's an understatement! It looks homemade, by an amateur, at that.

I've been gone for a couple of weeks. Has a new term 'ME' evolved here at FR during my absence? What the h*** does it mean? It's the official USPS abbreviation for the State of Maine, and I resent the demonization of swarthy Mainers.

It was Seabolt. And Seabolt Marine appeared under the trailer part on what looked like a support.

I'm astonished that they truck fuel to the ships.

The deal involved gantry cranes. I worked out the value to the investors and it was about $100 a day per crane.
The only real advantage they would have gotten was to get their ships unloaded first.
That, BTW, was immensely valuable because that allowed the owners to turn them around to go back for another load that much quicker.
Best way to break the Mafia'as back is to bring in other people with similar attitudes who will not find it useful to cooperate with them.

And from
this link, some company info on Seabolt. Look to the upper right.

Sounds like a lot of the difficulty was a "personal problem" with one or two cab drivers who just didn't want dogs in their cabs. Really?
Obviously you haven't hailed a cab in Minneapolis in the recent past.
Walking is becoming a preferred mode of transportation next to taking a cab.
Regardless of the distance...
