I take there was a crash the police came to the scene. The People's Republic of Alexandria no doubt have orders to the police to be lenient with illegal aliens. I'm sure that's true in the People's Republic of Arlington.

You're right about the Dubai port issue being cooked up by the unions and pressed by the Democrats to insure union backing in the election. The Republicans did not lose congress to the Democrats, they lost it to the unions.
