An accurate assessment of today's senate! In a nation of over three hundred million how did we wind up with this representation?
Thirty-four years in the senate and what has he ever accomplished, other than consistently getting his face in front of the cameras?

To condense these weighty constitutional concepts: by the terms of the Amendment I offer, both Delaware and Rhode Island will in future be represented by one Senator for both political entities (How can anyone in his right mind call these swampy interstate obstacles "States?")
No voting will be involved, as Delaware is inhabited exclusively by persons sharing DNA (and apparently hair plugs) with Joe Biden, and Rhode Island has unjustly imprisoned the greatest American politician since Jim Traficant, Buddy (duh Mayor) Cianci.
No my friends, The Senator from Rump Island and Delawelfare must and will be selected by the finest body of deliberative minds this planet has ever seen:
Unless you are actually from Rhode Island or Delaware,(in which case writing could be problematical) write your congressman and senators today. We demand justice!

I suggest John Kerry as the first Senator of the RI/DE.
We will generously include a utility dogcatcher, or Sewage Treatment Operator to be named.
I do this in deference to the citizens of both these places because JFK is just as much of a dumb nut-job as their present Senators combined, so they will hardly notice the difference.
Go for it, Joe! You can do it, we know you can!
You know where all the bodies are buried, and can shed some light on your rivals. You want to put them away, Joe, for good and all. They have done you dirt, Joe, in the cloakrooms and closed caucuses, and this your chance to smoke them out and clear the record for good and all.

Her liberal, nanny government, socialist base will remain solid among the delegates at the Dim convention. The rest will be divided every whichaway, at least at first. After a couple of ballots and deals are made between the candidates, the delegates will get the message to unite around Her Thighness.

We, the people, want a young, new person to run for POTUS....we want new ideas for this century in fighting the war on terror, we want new ideas for building the budget without raizing taxes so high we can't meet them; we want a new idea on Social Security instead of giving it away to illegal immigrants; we want a new idea on health care....
How can someone who has been in Government since 1800 know what is important today? They can't....
