It is really really odd (though I guess not for the Drive-By-Media) to not have Lieberman and McCain on the shows today. The surge is by far the top story, and they don't have the two most visible proponents of it on the shows? Bah. I bet all these guys would rather make today a big Bela Pelosi lovefest.
I wish McC & L WERE on for some questions. I'm concerned that I hear from some news rumblings that the military can only muster 9,000 for the surge-- this concerns me-- they need to increase significantly and tell 'em to take the gloves off and no reprisals. What good is even 100,000 more troops if they're not allowed to do their job? Tough times for the troops-- I'm praying as hard as I can these days.

I'm glad we are doing the surge and it is big news, but from my standpoint this has always been a WOT,not just in Iraq, and long term. I expect ups and downs within the scope of the time frame, which will be "long".

See the CSPAN Video clip....they address the Pentagon's concern about stress on the troops....McCain says the only thing worse than a stressed army is a DEFEATED Army....which is where the MSM and Leftie Democrats are leading us....
Lieberman...says it is ridiculous to use resource limits to impose POLICY choices.,....if we need them ...then get them....
