American "peace mom" Cindy Sheehan called for the closure of the U.S. military prison in Guantanamo, Cuba, as she and other activists arrived here Saturday to draw attention to the nearly 400 terror suspects still held at the remote site.
Sheehan is among 12 human rights and anti-war activists who will travel across this Caribbean island next week, arriving at the main gate of the Guantanamo base on Thursday five years after the first prisoners were flown in.
"Anyone who knows me knows that I am not afraid of anything," Sheehan said when asked about the possibility of U.S. sanctions for traveling to communist-run Cuba, which remains under an American trade embargo.
"What is more important is the inhumanity that my government is perpetrating at Guantanamo," she told reporters.

Can they please keep her ugly ass there?
HOW can she go to Cuba? I thought it was hard for American's to get papers to go there? I don't get it.
"Sheehan arrived in Havana early Saturday evening with trip organizer Medea Benjamin, of the California nonprofit groups Global Exchange and Codepink."
Maybe they can mistake her for a whale and shoot her.
Don't the Marines have a minefield somewhere down there where they can let Cindy & Co. set up their picket line?
Who is financing this hate filled anti-American old crone?
"Who is financing this hate filled anti-American old crone?"
Codepink and George Soros.
And BTW here is what they say in a S American paper:
Cindy Sheehan, Peace Defenders, to Cuba

The program of Sheehan and her fellows will last until January 13, and will include visits to the Martin Luther King Religious Center, the Latin American School of Medicine, the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples and other places of interest.
They will travel to the eastern province of Guantanamo to express their rejection of torture there and will participate in a press conference to be held in Havana.
According to the sources, they will condemn the Military Commissions Law and will demand fair trials or the release for all the prisoners.
Me neither.
One of the strangest things I had to get used to when moving into Canada was billboards advertising trips to Cuba. What???!!! I didn't think we were allowed to go there. I still am not (as far as I know!), b/c I have an American passport. However my kids and husband can, if they want...
Over my dead body, however. LOL!
Message from Jack Nicholson:
It's time to call a real "Code Red" on this bunch of reds.
While they're there, they should protest the illegal detention of political dissenters in Cuba's common prisons...
(Not to mention the torture, kidnapping, and murders of political dissenters and their families.)
There are several ... but how is she supposed to get in? The "main gate" is the airport. The other "gate" allows Cubans from Caiminara and Bouqueron (forgive the spelling errors) who are employed at the base to go back and forth each day.
"Who is financing this hate filled anti-American old crone?" George Soros and World Can't Wait (aka Communist Party-USA)
YES I CALLED HER A PIG.
"Anyone who knows me knows that I am not afraid of anything," Sheehan said ....Except looking in the mirror.
When oh when is she going to just shut up????
When Castro heard that Cindy "the brainless" Sheehan was coming to Cuba, he suddenly sat up in his bed and cried, "I"m dying, but I'm not that desperate!"

Wright resigned from the state dept., not the Army. Just to make it clear, as the author tries to obfuscate. Imagine, being too far left for the state dept.
