The U.S.- Mexico Social Security Totalization Agreement ...an agreement signed between the Bush administration and the Mexican government in 2004 that would funnel billions of U.S. Social Security funds to Mexican citizens. The Government Accountability Office (GAO) has already warned that as a result of this agreement, the number of unauthorized Mexican workers and family members eligible for social benefits will likely increase. The Social Security Administration itself warns that Social Security is within decades of bankruptcy - yet they seem to have no problem making agreements that hasten its demise...

I'm typing class syllabi at the computer and fixing dinner at the same time that I'm responding to your drivel.
I can multi-task, but I'm choosing to end this 'task.' I'm bored with it.
Good bye.

There was an interesting article in the WSJ, a few days ago, that said that the best way to keep SS solvent was to lower the payroll taxes by at least one third, the amount that is eroneously said to be saving for a rainy day when SS is insolvent. The economist said that by doing this, the economy would grow enough to continue funding SS for quite a while longer. I'm no economist, but I sure like the sound of this suggestion.

LOL! I forgot to mention that I was also doing laundry, and that it was infinitely more intellectually stimulating that this 'debate' with you.
btw, dinner was good, I had great conversation with my husband (a real man, in case you ever want to meet one), syllabi are coming along fine, the last load is in the dryer, and I still think those of you calling for impeachment of my son's Commander in Chief during this time of war are infiltrators from the left, and that the rules of this forum are there for a reason.......to keep the trolls out.
Your thumbing your nose at them is as 'enticing' as anything you've done here. Trolls are always enticing.......

This "Agreement" has not been signed into law yet.
American people must be made aware of it and bring pressure to recind it before Bush signs it into law.......which I just bet he is anxious to do.

There must be something magical in this tread for something so intellectually unstimulating to keep pulling you back in.
Look, you believe Bush is entitled to unquestioned loyalty, and I do not. That it is a time of war is irrelevant. I am not a lemming, and I will never shy away from speaking the truth, no matter how uncomfortable it is to people like yourself.
BTW, petty personal insults, like the one in your last post, are typical of both leftists and people who are incapable of intellectually defending their point of view (which are mostly leftists, and oddly enough often "educators").
I think you need to re-evaluate which of us is the troll.

Your thumbing your nose at them is as 'enticing' as anything you've done here. Trolls are always enticing....... Why pray tell would the DEM's impeach Bush? They could possibly but there would never be a removal. The DEMs are Liberals but they aren't politically stupid when it comes to getting what they want. That would leave Cheney same cut as Bush. Bush has done more for the Democratic Party than LBJ or WJC did. Bush is a Republican LBJ. Many calling themselves Republicans today were likely DEMs that voted for LBJ in 1964. On social spending Bush is a LBJ. On foreign policy he's approaching him there also. On trade he has sold us out to China, Mexico, and one or two M.E. oil producers.
The best hope for the GOP and this nation right now is gridlock. Nobody gets nothing past. But here's the problem. On many key issues Bush and part of the GOP side with the DEMs either fully or enough to compromise on such.
The fear Bush is going to be impeached and removed from office is ridiculous. Teddy K, Nancy, Reed, Waxman, Levin, etc will scream bloody murder that Bush is a right wing nutjob and laugh all the way through the next two sessions of congress that the GOP does not have the guts to stand up to them or Bush. Bush is many things but he was truthful when he ran in 2000. "Me and MR Gore are not that far apart on most issues".
And the GOP voters said OH thank goodness he's not a DEM???? Some are just now waking up to the 10 year long ongoing GOP sellout that's taken place by the GOP not all the GOP but the ones holding the purse strings. At least some are finally getting it. Many more never will though.

That it is a time of war is irrelevant. Not to the owner of this forum.

You mean petty personal insults as opposed to crass or filthy insults like you have leveled at me?
Trying to take the moral high ground when you've had your posts deleted doesn't hold water around here, child.
But I am unceasingly amused that a troll like you is trying to call me a leftist.
In fact, I haven't had this much amusement for quite some time. I almost hate to get back to my work.....

The RATS have been talking about impeachment since the War in Iraq began, cva.
And to the rest of your post I will say what I have said before, and which is the absolute truth.
The only people who would say that there is no difference between Democrats and Republicans are those who do not value the life of the unborn, the moral fabric of this country, our national security, or Constitutionalist judges.
Is that what you really mean to say, snipe?
I'm not happy with the spineless Republicans in Congress, but to imply that there is no difference and that gridlock is a good thing is an untenable position for a conservative.

Wrong again-more selective memory.
I have never called for Bush's impeachment--I have merely maintained that a legitimate case could be made, given Bush's refusal to enforce our border sovereignty and immigration laws, and I have defended those who have said the same thing.
BTW, the duty Bush is in dereliction of:
U.S. Constitution Article 4 Section 4:
The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion;...
Of course, this is also a violation of his Oath Of Office:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

You're extremely thin skinned if you think what I said was filthy (there was no profanity involved). But since your whining got the post removed, people can't judge for themselves. Lucky You.
But I am unceasingly amused that a troll like you is trying to call me a leftist.
I didn't try to do anything--I ASSERTED that you are a leftist, given that you engage in leftist behavior (blind lemmings unquestioningly following the leader, cutting off and running from debate when you disagree with an opposing viewpoint).
In fact, I haven't had this much amusement for quite some time. I almost hate to get back to my work.....
Glad I could amuse you. It is too bad that some FReepers find illegal immigration debates funny, given how Bush's refusal to enforce U.S. border sovereignty and immigration laws is hurting, and even killing, so many Americans. HAHA.

You have a serious problem with following rules, don't you? Funny that you should try to blame your own lousy behavior on me. I dealt with that a lot when I taught Jr. High, but it always takes me back when it comes from people who have reached an adult age (although clearly not maturity).
The leftist stuff is SOOOOO funny! (btw, if I'm 'running' from this debate, how do you explain that I'm still on this thread, and that I'm discussing it with the non-trolls on this thread?) I guarantee that I was a conservative before you were born, and raised in a family where it runs deep and wide. You are clueless, boy.
And let me tell you this..........you're amusing other (real) freepers too, not just me. I've been congratulated for 'kicking your butt.' (His words, not mine). I just said "Thanks! It's been fun." And it has.
Illegal immigration isn't fun, but beating up on trolls is, especially the ones who make it so easy to do.........thus my amusement with you, little dog.
