Clever diversion. The typical diversion is an older woman.
Yeah, excellent damage-control strategy. /sarc
Three years, how convenient! Why not four years? Because that'd make him a pedophile! Gay or not, he's still a pervert.
"Mongiardo to wed girlfriend of three years"
And she's 21 now? What, did he have her 18th birthday circled on his calendar just biding his time until D-Date?
Who's got the pics!!
LOL
Senator Daniel Mongiardo
If she's been his girlfriend for 3 years, he has barely missed a suspicion of pedophilia, at least legally.
Yeah but they love each other /sarcasm
He pulled a page out of the Gavin Newsome playbook.
State Sen. Mongiardo engaged to UK student
State Sen. Daniel Mongiardo, who is running for lieutenant governor this year, is engaged to marry his girlfriend of three years.
No wedding date had been set for Mongiardo and Allison Patrick, 21, of Frankfort.

"Our ages is not a problem for us," Mongiardo said. "My mother was 17 when she married my father, who was his 30s, and their marriage worked just fine."
It will be the first marriage for both.

As long as it isn't a political tactic, I can't fault him. Every 46-year-old man would marry a 21-year-old if he could manage it. ;)
is all this because he's a Rat,........or do I detect some envy ???? lol.... /sarc
Wipe that grin from your face. What happens when he gets a bit older and misplaces the blue pill? "Pool boy, please pick up the pink courtesy phone."
Let's see. She has been his girlfriend for three years, since she was 18 years old. He was 43 years old.
I teach 18 year olds. Some of them are mature, certainly, but none of them so far have reached the "woman" stage of life (despite the fact that some imagine they have). As someone who passed by 43 a few years back, I can't imagine finding common ground with an 18-year-old girl. Even in THAT sense of "common ground." Probably I need more content at this point in my life than an 18-year-old girl can deliver.
I was always told you could tell a lot about a man by the women he dated. Hmmmm.
I wonder if she graduated from college yet.
21 is quite young to be a beard.
