yes, it gives me some hope. At least we voted down the last three major tax increase proposals, now that we, like the U.S., have a Dem controlled congress and a Dumb.. er uh, Dem governor, we are in trouble again. They are already talking about a 1.5 billion $ increase for schools. Ahhh, that crap again. Happens every voting day, they try and scare us with the old, we will have to start eliminating school days if we do not fund our suffering schools, bollox. So I am a bit worried now.

Also, it drives me nuts that they always base these tax increases on the homeowners and property taxes, when most of the Libs around here are in apartments or state funded housing and have nothing to lose by voting yes on these outrageous proposals
