Sen. Johnson to Take Several Months to Recover From Brain Surgery

Fanatic? Wow, I always knew I'd get somewhere.

The point of my post, and subsequent unanswered questions that I posed was simply this. It is highly hypocritical of the deathocrats to not call for the Senator's death. Honestly, I think we should put out an Amber Alert for George Felos. Terri Schivo was not brain dead, she was severely brain damaged. Like a lobotomized person, or a severely retarded person. The only difference was that Terri needed a feeding tube. Senator Johnson is in considerably worse shape in that he is still in a coma and the prognosis is not good for his future mental condition (although we all hope that things will work out for him and his family). My point is that I think it is laughable (about the only thing laughable in this terrible situation) that all of the sudden, the deathocrats are completely silent about what should be done with the Senator. Where are the so called "compassionate and caring" liberals who wanted to put Terri out of her misery (even though they also claimed that she was brain dead - how can a person who is brain dead be in misery?). What a bunch of little moral cowards they are.

But all of this is an aside. As I've said before, the real fact of the matter is the deathocrats wanted Terri dead so that they could show that they had power over Bush and the Christian community. The libertarians wanted Terri dead so that they could show that they weren't like Bush or the Christian community. That's the truth of the whole sad story. What the libertarians and the deathocrats do with their conscience (if they actually have any) is their own problem.

Johnson was PUT into a coma by his doctors. This case has no relation to the Schiavo case other than the doctors did all that could be done to help the patient recover. The HUGE difference is that the doctors have only been working on Johnson for a month while with Schiavo they had been working for OVER A DECADE to try and help her. ALL their efforts were in vain and the case's hopelessness became evident to all but Pretenders.

You have conveniently ignored the main point that I made previously. This is not an issue about time, this is an issue about condition. As I said in post #61 "Terri Schivo was not brain dead, she was severely brain damaged. Like a lobotomized person, or a severely retarded person. The only difference was that Terri needed a feeding tube." From what I understand, Senator Johnson is occasionally on a respirator. Terri never needed one. What happens if the Senator doesn't improve in the next few months? Do you think he should be put to death? How long is long enough? What is the rule? Are there any rules?

No, that is the truth. Whether or not you choose to accept it is up to your own conscience.

There was no legitimate reason to execute Terri. She wasn't harming anyone and she was no threat to anyone. Her parents volunteered to care for her and release her "husband in name only" from all responsibility and cost. But this wasn't good enough in the drive to execute Terri. The deathocrats and the libertarians would hear none of it. Neither would the establishment press. I think it's because of the raw anti-Christian bigotry that is within the deathocrats, libertarians, and establishment media. If there is any moral question that is presented before the nation, whatever the Christians (especially the Evangelical Christians) decide, it seems that the deathocrats, libertarians, and establishment media seem compelled to answer in the opposite.

But you see, in the big scheme of things, Terri meant so little. Terri meant nothing to the deathocrats. Opposing Bush and the Christian right meant everything to them. Now when one of their Senators is in a similar situation, the deathocrats have nothing to say. Senator Johnson means much to the deathocrats, not because he is a human being, but because if he dies, they could loose control of the Senate. As far as the libertarians go, as I said before. They wanted Terri executed so that they could show the world that they are not like those Christian conservatives. They are anxious to separate themselves from any hints at religious authority. They are nothing more than a bunch of intellectual charlatans whose specialty is discontent and fickleness.
