Talk about beating a dead horse!!! I think Hanania wishes deep down that he was Muslim so he could be more properly outraged. Although I would have liked to see Saddam stand trial for his other crimes (and possibly find out more about his collaboration with or French, Russian, German, and UN "allies"), I can would why the Iraqis would want to quickly turn that sorry page of their history.

civilized people are easily brought to hysteria and led down a path of insanity.

Sounds like the Rev. Algore and his traveling global warming sideshow.

Nearly everything he mentioned that "we all know" is a lie. If I had a head full of such "knowledge" such as this one is I'd blow my brains out.

"Certainly not President Bush, who cowered in the face of duty during the Vietnam War, preferring to hide in a national guard unit rather than join his generation (as I and others our age did) in choosing to serve active duty, risking possible death ourselves."

Back then, it seemed like the NG was for weekend warriors and shoe clerks. But at least he joined. Nowadays, you might as well go regular because, to paraphrase Kerry, you'll end up in Iraq anyway.

Is this ass-clown a regular columnist, or some dumbf$%k who sent in an op-ed piece? I'm asking because this is over the top even for the MSM. I would expect somebody of this guy's ilk to be teaching graduate-level social science courses at an Ivy-League university.

Has anyone written him an email critical of this article to see if it shows up on his comments section? Just curious.

from 'counterpunch.com': Ray Hanania is former national president of the Palestinian American Congress, an award-winning nationally syndicated columnist. He can be reached at www.hanania.com.

from 'freemuslims.org': Hanania has more than a decade experience as a senior manager for a Chicago Public Relations firm, overseeing B2B and B2C media and PR strategies. He also managed public affairs and grassroots campaigns for several major Illinois corporations in gaming, telecommunications, aviation, healthcare, liquor industry, and education.

WOW~where to start on this meat-head... hmmm... well, Ray -have you ever actually TALKED to an Iraqi??? I have... many actually. Fathers of young men killed by Uday, common folk - street vendors... just, people trying to live their lives under the shadow of a tyranical dictator and his autocratic family. Let's not forget the fathers of young women... I won't go into great detail because it's rather common knowledge - the Hussein boy's interpersonal skills with ladies.

Have you walked the streets of Baghdad? Have you seen the villages of those who dwell outside the 'cultural' areas? Better yet ~ have you spoken to a Kurd lately??? Or a Shiite???

You question links to those who would do harm to America?!? Are you freakin' serious???

You play on the fact that brave young warriors of this nation have given their lives in this cause - you pathetic ranting media whore! How friggen DARE you? There is more honor and integrity in one of those lost souls than in your entire freakin family lineage back to Noah. I would not piss on you if you were on fire.

Saddam, the murderer of hundreds of thousands, was justly executed in accordance with Iraqi law. Mere taunts at his execution was a drop in the ocean compared to the pain and misery and death he caused others. Don't weep his passing. SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS.

We’re told he committed all kinds of crimes. In fact, most of the “evidence” was detailed on the FOX Cable News Network, which in the United States, constitutes clear and convincing evidence of truth.

You know, my history teacher in high school was an a**hole, he detailed a bunch of "evidence" about Hitler, German war crimes and the Holocaust. Since I didn't like my teacher, I can disregard the so-called "facts" that he taught us.

Liberal logic in action.

But we all also know that President Bush lied about the reasons to invade Iraq.

I had another teacher in high school that I and all the rest of the kids loved. She told us that the sun rises in the west, the earth is flat and that there is no such thing as gravity. We all believed everything that she said, andtried bery hard not to accidentally float off the earth until we got into college.
