Lividity and a pulse? How?Dependent lividity. As near as we can figure, her heart kept going for two reasons: automaticity and the fact that we ewre pumping into her all the things her heart needed to keep functioning (bicarb, dextrose, electrolytes, etc.) Her heart remained functioning solely through chemical reactions.

The diminishing number of assault victims, alcohol-related injuries, suicide attempts, and panic attacks coming to the ER indicated that visiting relatives were now leaving town.LOL!

EKG activity does not mean there is a corresponding effective heartbeat.
In my days it was called EMD now called PEA
an ekg tracing simply tells us the the electical system of hte heart is firing, but does not give any information of the efficacy of any assoc heart beat

Hillary has precisely the opposite condition: looks alive but has a stone-cold heart.Yeah, but look all all the things she has that Condi doesn't: FBI files, white skin, a cheatin' husband, and an ugly spoiled daughter...

You appear to be correct. The heart can be kept going long after the patient is otherwise gone. The problem is when to declare death and that is as much a legal question as medical.

Druggy loser, very likely on welfare, snorting and shooting up our tax dollars. And all those talented and dedicated people and expensive equipment working to revive her worthless carcass. What a total waste all around.

If you can't legally share the next chapter on this body, contact CSI. They'll be able to give us a reenactment!
BTW: That'd be a good thing for you to do with your knowledge and writing talent. You could write for those "dead folks" shows.
