It's absurd. The judge is not going to quash the subpoena. And if Wilson doesn't show up, he'll probably dismiss the case.

In the FWIW department, for my money if Wilson is excused from testifying, the entire case is gone. The 4th Amendment gives Libby the right to face his accuser who is, indirectly, Joe Wilson.
No Joe, no go!!

Maybe things are turning. Hopefully 2007 will be much better than 2006.
Look at Somalia. The Jihadists are being crushed. Hopefully a harbinger of things to come.

Hell, we should make sure Wilson doesn't show up! ;-)
The political usefulness of the issue is over, the election happened, and now Wilson wants to get on with his life after moving away from Washington.
Wilson does not want to take the stand, because he will have to perjure himself, if he sticks to his original "story." If he tells the truth, he will be the laughing stock of the Liberal and Conservative worlds and his Civil suit will be at an early end.

He notes that Wilson spoke to many reporters during the relevant periodLOFL... he also spoke to every leftist college campus in the nation...
