the after action report for the millenium bombing shows the extent to which AQ operations were established inside the US - well before 9/11. the margin notes likely showed who wanted to do something about it, and who didn't.
yes, someone did know the extent of AQ operations inside the US before 9-11, and could have done something about it. Clinton and his national security team. and this is why they were willing to go to any lengths to destroy them.

What we are witnessing is the mutual protection racket in DC writ large. Berger and the clintons should be in the slammer... at a minimum....
The iterations of Bush-clinton take entrenched power to new depths, (which is yet another reason--not that we need one--not to vote for the missus).

I believe what oceanview said in 282 is about as close to the truth as we'll ever get.

Can we get a copy of the pages with margin notes posted?
To: Howlin
Yes it is, especially when you hear slick willy say how important fighting terror was in his administration.

that's been the vexing question - I don't know, are there copies? when OReilly interviewed Ashcroft and asked about Berger, he didn't followup with any good questions. and as you know, the MSM is burying this story.
To: Howlin
ravingnutter has some good posts on this a while back.
To: Jim Robinson; oceanview
I had heard/read a while back that there were notes in the margins and that one of the notes said something like "Ask Hillary."
And I am serious.

I think it is too, what I want to know is why nothing is being done about it. I'm not the cynic that some are, I think there is good reason why this hasn't been made public.
Then again, I also think there's good reason why Poppy has taken Bubba under his wing. Darned if I can figure it out, but there simply MUST be a reason.
