:::FreeRepublic's Threat Matrix:::
Fighting Jihad: Strategic Thinking Needed
-Full Story-

The United States of America has some of the smartest leaders in government, military, and business in the world. Yet the American government has failed to collectively use this formidable brain-power 5+ years after the attack by Jihadists on the American homeland to develop a truly strategic plan to fight the global threat of Jihad and Islamist extremism. In one of the most complex wars in American history, rather than starting with holistic, big-picture thinking towards the challenges and prioritizing resources and actions accordingly, America has spent much of the past five years after 9/11 in reactive and bureaucratic churning.

Bump!

A FReeper, or lurker, can learn more, by reading any 50 posts on this thread, once every day or two, than they could possibly learn listening to the MSM in a month!

The more people who file reports here, the better.

Islamic Terrorists using Google Map and GPS systems to locate, track and monitor India’s IT and call center outsourcing hubs
And Pakistan's ISI is aiding them, according to this story by Kiran Chaube in IndiaDaily (thanks to Jeffrey Imm):

They want to hit at the core profit center of India Inc. They want to hit at the outsourcing centers all over the nation. They have placed moles in Infosys, TCS, IBM India, Wipro and other companies all over the countries. They are recruiting non-Islamic people to cause for confusion. With these field intelligence, they are using Google Map and Global Positioning Systems to track each and every outsourcing installations of India.
Pakistan’s ISI provides them with logistics and guidance. They are spread out ready to take on India.

The suspected Pakistan-trained militant, who was arrested on Bangalore outskirts, had visited Infosys and Wipro to find out the security arrangements there for a possible terror strike as per instructions of top insurgents in Pakistan with alleged LeT links, his questioning revealed.

Sources say he was visiting the moles already in place in those companies.

You're welcome freeperfromnj.

I still remember the maple syrup smell.

I'll post updates as I find them.

It's not the smells themselves that are disturbing;
it's the fact that an odor can spread to such a wide
area.

6 different tests coming back positive for C4 means it's all a mistake? Is this some kind of dumb joke?

Sprinkler parts could have many uses in the terrorism handbook if that is really what they are/were.

"Congress Avenue Re-Opens Following Bird Deaths"
Jan 8, 2007 01:00 PM

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Austin police have re-opened a 10-block stretch of Congress Avenue, hours after 63 dead birds were found in Downtown Austin."

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "They still don't know what killed the birds. However, one bird has been sent to a lab in Ames, Iowa, to be tested for avian flu. Another bird is being sent to College Station, Texas, to determine whether it might have been poisoned. That said, KXAN has been told that officials don't believe that a bird flu was the likely cause of this incident Monday morning.

"Typically what we see in large bird die-offs is severe weather, actually -- strong winds, hail storms," Valadez said."

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Valadez said there were 63 dead birds found. The dead birds included grackles, pigeons and sparrows.

"The preliminary test that were done include a gas chromatography of the exterior of the bird, looking for organo-phosphates or pesticides. That can also cause illness in humans. We also did necropsy or dissection of birds looking for further evidence of poisoning from that respect. Those were all preliminary results but negative," Valadez said.

The fire department was called out to the area around 3 a.m. on Monday to test if there had been a gas or chlorine leak, but nothing of that nature was found."

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Officials say anyone who may find dead birds in their area can call 311 to make a report."

"New Hizbullah Scent: Smells Like Divine Victory"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "According to the Iranian website Moqavemat.com, "Resistance Perfume" is now on the market in Lebanon. The perfume comes with a photo of Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, and its motto is a line from a speech by Nasrallah during the July-August 2006 war: "You are the truthful promise ... and I have great faith in you and I promise you divine victory.

The perfume's packaging also includes a digitally manipulated picture of a sinking ship, meant to represent the Israeli naval vessel damaged by a Hizbullah missile during the war, and reprints of Nasrallah's speeches and messages from "Lebanese prisoners in 'Israeli' prisons.""

Muslim Taxi Driver Fines Proposed
January 08, 2007 12:11 PM EST

By Sher Zieve – Appearing Monday on Fox News, Minneapolis Airport Commission Spokesman Patrick Hogan said that the airport’s Muslim Cabbies refusal to accept certain fares is unacceptable. Hogan also said that over the past 5 years, Muslim airport cab drivers have refused to transport at least 5,400 passengers, because they either carried alcohol products or dogs—including seeing-eye dogs.

Hogan confirmed that 75% of the taxis at Minneapolis Airport are driven by Muslim drivers, who are claiming that their religion does not permit them to come into contact with either dogs or alcohol. Hogan advised that the drivers knew when they applied for their jobs that they would have to transport diverse groups of customers.

The proposals to stop the Muslims’ refusals to transport viable passengers include a 30-day taxi driver license suspension for the first offense and a 2-year suspension of licenses for the second offense.
