(Kathleen) Carroll said that Hussein is a guy weve talked to for years, adding that we dont have anything new to say about it, nothing new to add.
Translation: We made up this guy yeeeeears ago, and we don't care what anyone thinks - because weeeee control the newwwwws!

That sign is very appropriate as this is the first time I have seen someone who lacks credibility and manufactures news accusing someone else of stealing their technique.
Eason Jordan is a slimeball for being Saddam's puppet for all those years in the name of making a buck...BUT...he is right here.
Al-AP...aka NY TIMES has once again engaged in yellow journalism and has been caught red handed.
That rag isn't fit to line a bird cage or wrap fish.

Inquiries by others point to there being no Captain Jamil Hussein, although there is no proof of that.Right. And since there is no proof Bigfoot isn't roaming the forests of Oregon, we have to believe in the possibility. /sarc

If there is such a person then there should be no problem producing him. More media lies.

Maybe there's some maniac that enjoys kidnapping and hiding media sources like Jamil Hussein or Lucy Ramirez (CBS Bush document source).

It does not matter whether there is a Jamil Hussein or not because his information is accurate regardless. </ DanRather>

When asked about critics demands that AP produce Hussein to prove his existence, she said that area [where he works] has pretty much been ethnically cleansed, it is a nasty place and continues to be. It may be a nasty place, but it's 60 stories less nasty than what AP describes.

This story and thread really isn't about Eason Jordan.
To: faq
Did Eason have some kind of a conversion or something? Hard to believe he is doing something with integrity for a change. What gives?????

I understand your point, but you surely understand the surprise and shock among many of us that Mr. Jordan would have the temerity to take on the AP. That is a big story in-and-of-itself.

It really is, notice my question in post # 17. The Eason in this story doesn't seem like the same guy who ran CNN. That's why I asked if he had some kind of a conversion. Stunning.
