CNN Apologizes for Mistaken Headline {Where's Obama?}

NEW YORK -- CNN apologized Tuesday for mistakenly promoting a story on the search for Osama bin Laden with the headline "Where's Obama?"
A spokesman for Illinois Sen. Barack Obama said the apology was accepted.
The blunder came Monday evening on Wolf Blitzer's news show "The Situation Room." Both Soledad O'Brien and Blitzer offered separate apologies during CNN's morning show Tuesday.
CNN called it a "bad typographical error" . . .

A spokesman for Illinois Sen. Barack Obama said the apology was accepted. Very kind and magnanimous of Lord Saint Obama to wave his magisterial wand and forgive a news organization for a typo.

I saw Wolf's apology this morning. He was SUPPOSED to be part of a team report on President Ford's funeral. He used part of his report time to do the apology.
