Should this have been a "barf alert?" The author points out some useful things, but seems a bit overly against the conflict in Iraq.

Certainly he's against the approach to stabilizing Iraq.

I'm confused. My son is in the Army in Iraq and according to him and most of the military I've talked to the Iraqis are GLAD we are there. Of course, this is coming from people that are actually there and on the ground and talking to them on a daily basis. About 10 percent are insurgents and most of them aren't even from Iraq. The interview you used as an example was as appalling to the general public in America as it was to you. Most of OUR hairdressers would know the difference too. Most of his buddies also tell me how frustrated they are with the media's portrayal of how things are going over there. They are amazed at how badly it is portrayed and believe that most of the media have been trying to turn the Iraq war into another Vietnam since it started. The media and politicians lost that war...not our soldiers. And they are trying to do it again. The only soldiers the media interviews are the ones that are in the worst areas of Iraq and have been kept there beyond their original departure date. Most of them do not hate Bush or Rumsfeld..but the media does. So one more who has bought into the media. If this is supporting our soldiers, then I am really confused.
