Prayer Request (Owl_Eagle) (Update at #125)

Hi Friends,
If I could impose on all my FRiends for a prayer request.
My Grandfather and hero has taken ill and is in the hospital. On New Years Eve Day, he suffered a heart attack. His heart is functioning at 35% and he has a leaking valve. Hopefully the valve can be controlled with meds.
He was the first person in his family to graduate from High School, went on to attend college and law school, taking a break to volunteer for the USMC during WWII where he served on a troop ship that traversed the Pacific 8 times and then was assigned to Nagasaki.
Upon returning to the states, he worked his way up in Public Service to become the Chief Justice of a large state and was a true Originalist on the bench.
My prayer is that I might get to see him one more time before he goes to heaven.

Sorry to hear this.
As a WWII vet, even though I've never met him, he's my hero, too.
Know that this is not our home, but that we are all on our way home, and that's where we'll meet up again forever. But hopefully he'll pull through this and you'll get to spend more time with him.
