Exactly! It has been a beautiful service and the songs have been beautiful, but I don't give people like Brokaw a pass either. His comments about Nixon and the press were unbecoming and should have not been said IMHO. But then I would expect no less out of Brokaw.

I love all the "Chritianness". Sad it takes a funeral to
openly display our Christian nature...our Christian nation.
I heard this morning on FN that President Ford and Tom Brokaw had become friends after Ford left the WH. It was Ford who asked Brokaw to speak at his funeral. Can we now leave the subject?
