The polar bear has become the enviroloonies' new bald eagle. Someday, I wish that people would wake the hell up and figure out that the wackos are just peeing on their legs and telling them that it's raining.

Glad to hear that the Polar Bears are thriving. I had decided that I would have to shoot all my neighbors cattle in order to reduce cow flatulence and thereby help save the Polar Bears. I just hadn't made it to Cabella's to pick up a load of shells.
I guess the moral of this story is that we ought to be careful about taking action based on scienfically suspect fearmongering. I don't think my neighbors would have been happy with me.

Oh no! a leading world expert on polar bears says that not only are they not threatened by global warming but may even thrive on it. I'll bet professor Taylor's words will get huge play in all the big lib media outlets. (smirk)

"No evidence exists that suggests that both [polar] bears and the conservation systems that regulate them will not adapt and respond to the new conditions. Polar bears have persisted through many similar climate cycles."
Irrelevant when socialists are trying to grab money and power.
When debating with any member of the global warming(TM) cult, no matter how many facts you lay before them, no matter how well-reasoned your logic may be (compared to their whining and moaning), they never stop. They believe it because they want to believe its true.
Great pics by the way!

And while the U.S. is the world's biggest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions (20.6% in 2000, compared to our 2.1% , which put us in ninth place) when you break the numbers down on a comparative basis, we, uh, stink. The US is not a net emitter of greehouse gases. We absorb all of our CO2 emissions plus 33% of what comes to us.
