The issue I was addressing in the post had nothing to do with Rick Warren. Rather, it had everything to do with how fellow Christians, fellow saints, the sanctified, those whom God has justified, sons, daughters, and heirs of God treat each other on this forum.
The fruit is rotten. Why would the unregenerate want anything to do with what they see on this forum? That's the Christianity that eats its own and I want no part of it.

When is contending for the faith and naming/refuting false teachers...maybe turning them over to Satan like Paul did...ever not considered "eating their own" by PD folks?

Many would say that Pelosi and Clinton are "fellow saints" since they proclaim that too! The same is happening here - being critical of what is written in exchanges. Here instead of debating about those two, we're just debating with what we see in Rick Warrens actions and statements. Some are defending him and some are not. I wouldn't agree that being critical is "eating your own". Legitimate criticism should not be stifled in exchanges here either.

I disagree that exposing "rotten fruit" is bad. Let folks SEE or read the criticisms and decide for themselves. Would silence suit you better? I would hope not! It's actually healthy to air differences of opinion - truth is there ... for those who wish to see it and claim it!

So, there we have it.
It's worse to call out a warning about a snake in the path, than it is to BE the snake in the path.
"Civility" Uber Alles!
I wonder what Brother Rick would have said to J.C. if he'd caught him whipping the moneychangers, driving them out of the Temple?
Oh, another thing. Not EVERYTHING is "outreach". This thread is a discussion of some serious issues regarding a wolf that is eating the flock. This is NOT an "evangelism meeting"!
